After Hurricane Katrina, the city of New Orleans was devastated and their annual Mardi Gras Celebration was at risk.
Before this, Mardi Gras was a privately funded event sponsored by local businesses.
Because of the devastation, the City of New Orleans tapped Media Buys to produce a charity campaign to ask for regional and national sponsors to fund the event.
Media Buys selected Echo to create this - which became the first ever official logo for Mardi Gras.
The campaign was a huge success, Mardi Gras was saved, and New Orleans travel & tourism revitalized the city.
