Pairs is a collectible game system using a unique pyramid-style deck of cards (1 ace, 2 twos, 3 threes, etc.). James Ernest developed over 40 games for the deck, and hired multiple illustrators to create unique themed decks for players to collect. Cheapass Games commissioned the Barmaid deck and licensed Echo's Cuisine Goddesses artwork for another deck.
