This award-winning project was an iconic overseas success. Lerche is a brand of scissors in Germany. Capitalizing on the German pun 'Sharp' that means both "sharp" and "sexually aroused", the Agency commissioned 12 vector erotic illustrations (which are not as taboo in Germany) to appear as cut-paper designs in a monthly calendar. This premium product was handed to partners and key individuals in their industry. Echo retains the copyrights to all of her images worldwide as the agency Scholz & Friends stole the artwork after completion without paying, and refused to credit Echo for any work done. Echo does, however, retain the entire direction history and e-mail chain. This was not a work-for-hire project.
